Opening & Closing the Drawer

At the beginning of each day, each cash drawer must be opened.

At the end of each day, each cash drawer must be closed.

When you open or close the cash drawer, you will count the bills and coins for the drawer. You’ll enter the values in CounterPoint. When you close the drawer, you’ll prepare the opening cash for the next day and secure all cash before leaving the store.

If the count does not match the expected total, notify your store’s manager.
